In January 2004, I travelled in Morocco and Mali with my youngest son, Andrew (age 12). We had an amazing time together. I published an online travel diary at the time, but the formatting used at the time means that the original pages load far too slowly to meet expectations these days. Therefore, the original diary entries are reproduced here with new formatting for faster loading plus lots of extra images from the trip.
