GCAT (the Global Concerns Action Team) at Li Po Chun United World College in Hong Kong is sponsoring the construction of two medical clinics in Majiang County (麻江县), Guizhou Province, China in co-operation with Amity Foundation. We stayed in Kaili, mid-way between Cengong and the provincial capital Guiyang.
Kaili is dominated by the culture of the Miao minority nationality.
The huge sports stadium is built in Miao style.
Even the bus stops are built in Miao style.
Kaili is recognised as a major tourism centre in China.
We enjoyed a Miao style lunch in Kaili.
