GCAT Project to Support Medical Clinics in Guizhou - Photos from my visit in October 2009
GCAT (the Global Concerns Action Team) at Li Po Chun United World College in Hong Kong is sponsoring the construction of two medical clinics in Majiang County (麻江县), Guizhou Province, China in co-operation with Amity Foundation. Yang Qiao has one of the new government-designed medical clinics.
We stopped briefly in Yang Qiao with Health officials to inspect the building.
The government-designed clinics are smaller than the ones built by Amity.
The large room to the side had one bed for patients’ use, though more could fit.
The dispensary was well stocked, but had no front access to the street.
There was a small preparation room to the rear of the clinic building.
