A Week in Namibia

Tuesday, 24 June 2008

I have just spent a week exploring a country with fantastic geography that I have never visited before - Namibia.  I had heard that Namibia’s geography was something special, and it most assuredly is!

Travelling with my youngest son, Andrew, we spent most of our time in the northern half of the country, travelling to Namibia’s far north-west border with Angola, the geologically diverse area of Twyfelfontein, and the biologically diverse area around the Etosha Salt Pan.  We had a great time and came to appreciate the very special and diverse environments that are found in Namibia.

You can read about the extraordinary experiences that Andrew and I have shared this week in my daily travel diary entries for the trip, which can be accessed HERE.

Happy reading!
